Intro to the Blog

Hello there readers!

If you have found this blog you have probably heard of this from me directly, if not thank you for your interest in my blog.

So what's this blog all about? 

The purpose of this blog is to pose explanations regarding people, events, or ideas that have been made complicated or misrepresented over time. There will also be some connections to events/things happening today. There will also be some posts about things that just interest me (insert pop culture plug here).

Why should we listen to this guy?

My experience in the history field as well as the archives has earned me a BA in History from Slippery Rock University and I am working on a MLIS in Archives from the University of Pittsburgh. Throughout my college years I have worked on a number of research projects and papers on the topic of history and the information sciences. 

How often are you going to inform us?

I'm glad you asked dear reader! While reading on a certain topic can take minutes to hours depending on how long the post is and how much time you have to spend on a topic. While reading can take short times, researching topics and constructing ideas into an argument takes time. I hope to research a topic and publish every two weeks or so, but that could get tricky with grad school and work. So I hope to post on a regular schedule, but don't worry, the posts will come!
